Chapter President

Greetings Sister Links and Friends,

The Links Inc. is a National and International non-profit volunteer service organization founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946 by Margaret Hawkins and Sarah Scott. Our membership consists of 12,000 professional women of color and is located in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

We are committed women who linked in friendship, support and implement activities that enhance the quality of life in our communities and the world around. Our primary focus is to provide and participate in programs that promote education, cultural enrichment, health wellness, economic survival and civic involvement.

Since January 1994 in the Solano County community, we have actively participated in and sponsored events and or initiatives such as Cancer Walks, Haitian Relief, MAAMA Kits, Organ Donation Programs and Student Poster Art contests. We also collaborate and partnership with other organizations in hosting a Teen HIV/AIDS Expo and the recently formed Solano County Education Initiative. Through our Benefit Luncheons we have given $25,000 in scholarships to worthy Solano County Students. We also provide Holiday assistance and toys to a needy family in the County.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
